  • Lecture Notes and Cheat Sheets

All of these lecture slides are downloadable as pdfs. Additionally we have created a number of cheatsheets to summarize the main points

  • Too many references!

Sometimes it's just better to read the research paper. For a number of different modules we have added the full research paper to compliment your learning

FAQ

  • Do you provide CEUs?

Yes, the course is currently being approved for Physical Therapy CEUs in Illinois and California. It is also automatically approved in a number of states. If you would like it to be approved in your state please contact us and we will most likely do it.

  • For New York State PTs and PTAs

This course has been approved for 18 credit hours. However, to get a certificate the NY APTA needs to email this to you after I send them information that you have completed the course. Can you please email me when you are done

  • Do you have a discounted rate?

$297 is the discounted "medium bird" rate (unless you snatched up the early bird rate). Most online courses in the running world are over-priced and we aren't doing that. Additionally, if you buy this course you get to use it as a credit towards in-person training.

  • How long do I have access?

Until Greg Lehman is dead. So, lifetime access. My lifetime!

Course Description

Full course outline is Running Resiliency Online Outline.pdf

Running Resiliency is a thorough and extremely practical  best-practice management course for the injured runner. The course emphasis is on the manipulation of load and stress management in our injured patients and integrates running biomechanical principles within the biopsychosocial framework.  We recognize that runners are ecosystems and ecosystems are positively and negatively influenced by a number of factors.  Meaning we have multiple options to help our athletes.  While not all of these options are taught we recognize that clinicians will have different skillsets and many of these skillsets will fit into the framework presented in this training.

Participants  will be comfortable performing a thorough analyses of  all the factors contributing to stressors on a runner, gait analyses (with potential modifications), return to run programs, running training programs and exercise prescription for both performance and injury management. Participants  will be comfortable changing an injured runner’s training program to keep them running and will gain proficiency in designing training programs that also function as rehabilitation programs.
